So many digital files, so little time.

Time for truth here: when is the last time you printed a digital photograph? If you look around you right now, is there any evidence of your last photography session? Anything in a frame? On the wall? An album on the coffee table? Is your home reflecting your family and do your kids have opportunities to see themselves in print?

Admittedly, I have both. And even with the advantage of being a photographer, I still have digital archives (and let's be honest, several phones) that are full of good printing intentions.

What if it didn't have to be this way? What if you walk in the door of your home and one of the first things you see is a gorgeous image of your family. It makes you smile and take a breath. You're home.

What if when your kids walk down the hallway toward their bedrooms, every single time, they see hugs and snuggles and the way their parents look at them? Every day, a reminder that they are loved.

This is why Rebecca Kathryn Photography has moved from delivering a large beautiful collection of digital images, to delivering large beautiful artwork that's ready to hang right up on the wall. We will plan your session together, and part of that planning will be imagining what you'd like for your walls or your album. I will make the hard decisions and narrow down the choices, and present them to you the way they can look in your home. No overwhelm. Just a few decisions. Everything custom to you.

When I hold your hand through a photo session, we are documenting, yes, but we are also creating. When we are finished, you have artwork ready to hang on your walls. Instead of a bunch digital files and a whole bunch of figuring out to do.

Oh and yeah, you'll also get some digital files, because social sharing is fun too. But heirloom artwork is here to stay.
