As a portrait photographer, I want you to see the very best of yourself. That doesn't always mean everyone is looking right at the camera. Kids get to be themselves. Families snuggle in close. You will have artwork that reflects each of you as you are right now.

Consultation
We begin with a phone call, followed by an in-person consultation to talk about you and your photography needs. Without taking too much of your time, we will plan the details of your session. We will also talk about where and how you'd like to display your images.
Photo Session
We will meet on location or at your home, have fun photographing while keeping things relaxed and flexible.
Outdoor sessions usually happen an hour or two before sunset. Newborn sessions are typically mid-morning.
Ordering
Once I have narrowed down your choices and put together options, we meet again for you to view your images. You order only what you love, whether that's a large canvas, an album, or a collection of framed prints. When it's ready, I deliver it to your door. All you have to do is put it on the wall.

How does it work?
I provide a full service, from consultation to delivery of finished artwork. We'll begin with a phone call and a consultation to plan your session. A few weeks after your session, we will meet again to view your images and the possibilities for displaying them in your home. You order what you love, and when it's all ready, I deliver it to your door.
You aren't left with a project. You will have beautiful, heirloom art for your walls that is ready to hang and be enjoyed every day.
Do you pose newborns?
Health and safety are my number one priority. This is why I believe so much in in-home lifestyle photography for newborns. You stay in your home, in baby's safe place, and I will come to you. I don't bring props or dramatically pose your baby. You will hold your baby, your partner will hold your baby, and baby will be in the lead for any "posing" that occurs. For me, this is the safest way to photograph newborns, and I also happen to believe it results in the most beautiful, connected, and memorable images of these precious early days.
Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?
All of my sessions are custom. We will talk beforehand, look at your walls, discuss locations and outfits and all the details. Throw your ideas my way and let's see what we can do.
What about the weather?
Yep, here in Western Washington we all know it sometimes gets soggy. Luckily, things change fast, and moody skies are beautiful. That said, sometimes it's just too much (too much downpour, too much heat wave, too much smoke, just too much) and will need to reschedule. No worries!
